FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Can I post a job or bid on this website?
No. This website explains PeaceJob. Posting, bidding, funding, chat and your wallet all happen in the PeaceJob app.
Do I need an account to look at jobs?
No. The app lets you browse open jobs as a guest. You need an account to bid, message an employer or post work of your own.
What does PeaceJob cost?
The fee is 5% of the booking amount. It is taken from the amount paid out to the worker, and nothing is added to what the employer pays.
When is the money held?
When an employer funds a booking, the amount is locked in escrow and can no longer be changed. It stays held until the booking is completed or a dispute about it is resolved.
How do I withdraw money?
In-app withdrawals are not available yet. Payouts and refunds are arranged by our team with the person concerned and recorded in the wallet, so they are not instant. Contact accounts@peacejobapp.co.za about a payout or refund.
Is my PeaceJob wallet a bank account?
No. Your wallet balance is PeaceJob’s record of money you paid in that has not yet been used. It does not earn interest and is not covered by deposit insurance.
What happens if something goes wrong on a job?
Either side can raise a dispute. The job stops moving until a PeaceJob administrator reviews it and decides how the held money is handled.
How are people verified?
Individuals and companies submit different documents, and a person at PeaceJob reviews them before approval.
How do I contact PeaceJob?
Email support@peacejobapp.co.za or call +27 (0)72 223 0599.

Everything else is in the app.
